  • The Galaxy Innovations Phoenix HD Receiver is built on a new, high-performance dual-core 32bit RISC594 MHz ALi3516 processor with DDR3 RAM support. The device has two modern digital tuners – the satellite DVB-S2 and the terrestrial DVB-T2/C. The receiver supports TV channels in both SD and HD definition with MPEG-2 / MPEG-4 compression.
  • The device has a built-in Conax CAS7 conditional access module, which manages access cards for most encoding systems. The device also has a single CI slot that supports CI+ (Common Interface Plus) CA modules.
  • The LAN port present in the GI Phoenix allows changing receiver settings remotely, exchange data between receiver and computer, and connect the receiver to the Internet. If fitted with a USB Wi-Fi adapter (based on RT5370 chips) or a 3G modem (Huawei: E1550, E1552, Е171, E173, E177, Е1820 and ZTE 112, 180) the device works perfectly in a wireless network. The adapters are hardware supported and can be easily set up via the receiver menu.
  • The receiver also has the following new functions: Sat2IP for video streaming, which allows satellite channels to be viewed on Android mobile devices; DLNA multimedia playback from DLNA servers; and standard functions previously used by devices based on ALi processors - Youtube, WebTV, Kartina TV, Weather, Google Maps, RSS etc.
  • The GI Phoenix plays all multimedia files with MKV, AVI, MPEG, TS, VOB, MP3 and JPEG extensions. An optical S/PDIF digital audio output allows you to enjoy multichannel audio by connecting the receiver with a home theater. External USB storage devices allow for timed recording and TimeShift functions.
